About Thesis Capital Partners
Thesis Capital is a leading private equity firm dedicated to acquiring and scaling exceptional businesses. We pride ourselves on a data-driven, technology-enabled approach to investment sourcing and capital formation. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting professional to join our team as a Junior Analyst. This role will support the full deal lifecycle, strengthen relationships with intermediaries, and provide critical assistance to our Operating Partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-up calls with brokers on deals after initial outreach attempts.
- Manage Axial deal flow, including requesting deals, signing NDAs, updating statuses, and maintaining pipeline accuracy.
- Support off-market campaigns by building company databases, sourcing executive contact information, setting up outreach campaigns, and managing responses.
- Review Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), qualify opportunities, and coordinate with the most relevant Operating Partners.
- Provide timely feedback to brokers and investment bankers on declined opportunities.
- Maintain the Teams pipeline for post-CIM deals, updating statuses, comments, and preparing for weekly pipeline calls.
- Conduct introductory calls with brokers and investment banks to introduce Thesis and foster long-term relationships; manage quarterly catch-ups and first-deal discussions.
- Update reporting files and trackers with weekly pipeline data and priority deals.
- Assist Operating Partners with introductions, scheduling, opportunity analysis, and pushing deals forward.
- Draft Indications of Interest (IOIs) and Letters of Intent (LOIs).
- Build pre-LOI financial models to assess deal structures and financing feasibility.
- Provide post-LOI deal support, including due diligence coordination, marketing material preparation, data room management, closing checklists, funds flow, and related tasks.
- Support onboarding of new Operating Partners by setting up communication tools, scheduling intro calls, guiding them through processes, and ensuring smooth integration.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in private equity, M&A, and corporate finance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in reviewing CIMs and basic financial modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common collaboration tools (Teams, Google Suite).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
